News On 6 Announces Weekday Morning Lineup Changes

TULSA, Okla. – Griffin Communications and News On 6 are excited to announce weekday morning lineup changes including moving the 7-9 a.m. 6 In The Morning newscast to Tulsa CW and expanding to a new 9 a.m. hour on News On 6. It all kicks off Monday, September 13!
“We’re so glad that we are able to expand our weekday morning news programming by an additional hour,” said Chuck Maulden, News On 6 Director of Content. “No other station in Tulsa offers five and ½ hours of local news every morning. No matter what time you need to leave for school or work, we are able to serve your morning news needs from 4:30am to 10:00am.”
New Weekday AM Lineup (KOTV):
4:30 to 7 a.m. – 6 In The Morning
7 to 9 a.m. – CBS This Morning
9 to 10 a.m. – News On 6 at 9a
10 to 11 a.m. – The Price Is Right
“Dave and I have known about the plan to start the 9am show for a while and we can’t wait,” said LeAnne Taylor, co-host of 6 In The Morning. “We’ve been working on segments and guests and want this show to be an hour of fun. Even if you can’t watch live, set the DVR to record for later because you’ll never know what we’re up to!”
“I couldn’t be more excited to be bringing our faithful Green Country viewers another hour of local news from the 6 In The Morning team,” said Dave Davis, co-host of 6 In The Morning. “Our new 9AM hour will not only keep Oklahomans informed, but also give them a chance to get directly involved in the show. I think we’ll have a great time together in a fun, fresh format!”
In addition to debuting News On 6 at 9a, the 7-9 a.m. 6 In The Morning newscast will be moving to Tulsa CW starting September 13.
