Griffin Media Announces Behind The Badge Special To Air Dec. 11

Griffin's Latest Oklahoma's Own Original Spotlights First Responders

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Griffin Media will take viewers "Behind The Badge" on Monday, Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. to meet the heroes who are always there to help. In this one-hour special, first responders are sharing their stories from the front lines - what they saw, what they experienced, and how every emergency impacted them.

"Every first-hand account is a side of the story we've never heard, and interviews you'll only see here on News 9," News 9 Executive Producer of Special Projects Kylie Frakes said. Sworn to protect and serve, Oklahoma's first responders face danger on duty on a daily basis. One sees the scenes on the news, but almost never hears from the law enforcement officers, firefighters or paramedics involved. "Behind The Badge" provides that rare look into the gritty, demanding, enthralling and heartening world these heroes live in.

“Behind The Badge” will air on News 9 on Monday, Dec. 11 from 9:00 -10:00 p.m.
