For Andy, it all starts with understanding and serving the audience — knowing what they want, what they value, and how to make every interaction with local news on all platforms meaningful and memorable. He believes journalism is at its best when a team of passionate individuals work together to create original, relevant, and engaging content. And he’s convinced that telling great stories is the most powerful tool journalists have to provide context, clarity, and impact to local news.
Andy is incredibly proud and grateful to be part of the Griffin Media team. He loves Oklahoma and is honored to help share the stories of the people, places, and organizations that make this state so extraordinary.
With nearly 30 years of experience in local news, Andy has been fortunate to work alongside amazing teams and talented journalists at both the station and corporate level. He and his teams produced high-quality local news on-air, on-line, and on social. Andy worked with stations to launch new newscasts and shows, to enhance their news products, develop and execute strategic initiatives, and grow their audience. Through it all, his focus has remained on quality, consistency, and supporting the future of responsible and impactful local journalism.
